Lesa's 18th Anniversary!

January 5th, 2017

Today is Lesa’s 18th anniversary with Williamson Employment Services!  We are lucky and proud to have her working for us.

Through Lesa’s years with Williamson, she has directly influenced the dress code for women.  When Lesa first started with us, all women were required to wear a skirt and jacket.  Having moved to Michigan from the warm south, Lesa found wearing skirts to be extremely challenging for her to stay warm during the cold  Michigan winter months.  Our founder, Peg Williamson, noticed how cold Lesa was when wearing skirts during our snowy, cold winters and made the decision to alter the dress code to allow women to wear pants.

Thank you, Lesa, for your dedication and many years with Williamson Employment Services!

Williamson Celebrates National Staffing Employee Week

Williamson Employment Services is joining with staffing firms National Staffing Employee Week Logoacross the nation to celebrate National Staffing Employee Week, September 28 to October 4. Established by the American Staffing Association, this commemorative week honors the millions of employees working for US staffing firms.

Nationally, 3.2 million employees work in the staffing industry every week. Positions span all industry sectors and professions, and the majority are full-time. They can provide a bridge to long-term employment for staffing firm employees, who are given the opportunity to showcase their skills to prospective employers. Staffing assignments can also offer a flexible schedule for employees; one in five cites flexibility in work schedules as a key reason for choosing staffing, according to the ASA Staffing Employee Survey.

"National Staffing Employee Week is a salute to hardworking and talented staffing firm employees, who make a significant contribution to the growth of our local and national economy," says Judee Hopwood, president of Williamson Employment Services, Inc. "Our company is proud to be part of an industry that assigns millions of people to jobs every business day."

Williamson Employment Services is celebrating National Staffing Employee Week by showing appreciation for their assigned employees with gifts of custom lunch coolers filled with snacks.
