Must have strong manufacturing maintenance experience, at least five years. Machine maintenance in a food or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment a big plus. Candidates should possess the following set of skills:
Electrical: Able to troubleshoot relays, prox switches, limit switches, controls, and 3-phase motors. Also must be able to troubleshoot VFDs, PLCs, inputs, outputs, and read ladder logic.
Mechanical: Able to troubleshoot mechanical problems and determine the causes. Must be able to weld, fabricate, and be knowledgeable of conveying systems, pumps, blowers, and hydraulic systems.
Other requirements: Candidates must be able to work 2nd and 3rd shift as required. Supervisory experience a big plus.
Further knowledge of vibrating and belt conveying, coding, metal detection, and check weighing a plus.
Tools needed: Electricians pouch (for starters) - Allen wrenches, 9/16", 1/2", 7/16" crescent wrenches, channel locks, screwdrivers.
