Job Title: Information Systems Applications Manager
Location: Benton Harbor / Southwest Michigan, MI
Job Details: Information System Application Manager
This position provides management and direction for the
development staff in the area of systems analysis, new program
development and support for all purchased 3rd party software.
This role oversees the preparation, testing, implementation
and maintenance processes associated with all enterprise software.
They will consult with the appropriate company individuals
to determine needs, suggest possible solutions, establish
priorities, and the extent to which the development staff
will provide support.
The applications manager maintains project plans, schedules,
creates contingency plans, and tracks all documents, all programming
and system changes made. This individual will report to the
Director of IT to assist in determining goals for sustained
future growth, strategic direction and timelines.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Manages development staff, performance and evaluation,
training requirements and other human resource responsibilities,
such as hiring, promotion, discipline and termination
processes.

Maintains a repository for all 3rd party software customization
documentation.

Coordinates and manages staff responsibilities during
all software upgrades and implantations.

Provides recommendations to Director of IT for software
development tools, skill set enhancements, services, personnel
and other requirements.

Consult with functional representatives concerning new
form and report development, documents, and workflows,
and/or modification to existing applications.

Ensures software issues are addressed and resolved in
a timely manner.

Monitors outstanding service requests, patch application
and associated testing.
Requirements:
-
BA/BS in Information systems, or Computer Science with
at least 5 years relevant experience.

Results oriented individual with strong technical, management
and leadership skills.

Development and support experience in Oracle Applications
(11.0, 11i), preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to organize and work on multiple task under
pressure.

Proficiency in Application Development particularly
with Oracle tools (Developer 6i/2000, Discoverer, Workflow).

Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, TOAD and Java a plus.

Experience with Oracle Application and Enterprise Managers
helpful.

Oracle API's, Interfaces and Workflow experience preferred.

Ability to adapt to and apply rapidly changing technology
to business needs

Proficiency with effectively interfacing with a wide
variety of people.
Salary: $80,000.00 to $100,000.00
