Job Title: Welder / Fabricator
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Job Details: Fab Welder
Custom job shop. Makes blow pipe/duct work.
Work from engineering prints.
Working with galvanized, aluminum, stainless steel, black
iron...very diverse. must have 3-4 years experience, read
blueprints and have a valid driver's license.
Must have knowledge of basic sheet metal shop machinery
- shearer, press brake, cnc brake, hand brake & forklift.
Hours are 8am-4:30pm (possible Saturdays). Very clean environment
This is a TEMP-TO-HIRE position
MUST BE DRUG SCREENED.
Galvinized experience is a plus.
Fixture welding, tool and die type welding and a lot of
structural type welders do not fare well in this shop.
They work with 18 gauge galvanized metal, which is only
.0516 thick. This material is difficult to weld and is not
common in other industries except in their and a few of their
competitors. They are a job shop which demands creative abilities
to meet their customers needs.
Salary: $10.00
