Job Title: Coordinator

Job Details: COORDINATOR
Coordinator's Daily Task List:
-
Check mail
-
Verify that daily schedule is posted
-
Sign in new temporary employees and distribute timecards.
If necessary, communicate with temporary service coordinator
-
Require picture ID at check-in
-
Check GMP's when employees are entering and throughout
shift
-
Place new employees on lines
-
Introduce foreman to new temporary employees
-
If possible, introduce shift supervisor to new temporary
employees
-
Verify that lines have correct number of employees
-
If necessary, call other plant coordinators with shortage
needs or overage of workers
-
Verify line sheets
-
Make schedule for following day, print and post.
-
Make necessary adjustments by calling other plants.
-
B shift coordinator: daily check schedule at 11:00am
& 1:00pm for changes for C & A shifts-contact
off-shift coordinators with changes
-
Turn in vacation slips, write ups, line sheets &
miscellaneous paperwork to HR
Specific Daily Tasks:
Monday:
-
Verify exceptions report due to HR by 9:00am Tuesday
morning
-
Verify hours, identify tardiness and long breaks-write
up employees accordingly
-
Post weekend voluntary sign-up Thursday:
-
Sort and distribute paychecks
-
Start weekend schedule. Post Mandatory if not enough
volunteers.
-
If not enough volunteers, begin making it mandatory
from bottom of seniority list working up until there are
enough people
Friday:
-
Finalize weekend schedule and post
Additional Tasks:
-
Check GMP
-
Assist & access new employees on the lines
-
Answer questions & address concerns
-
Give breaks
-
Check with foreman regarding employee's position and
performance
-
Contact HR with transfers and/or pay increases
-
Obtain approval from plant manager and/or shift supervisor
to begin hiring process
-
Work related injuries: fill out accident report &
fax to Robin at corporate (x1115)
-
Give copy to HR and plant manager
-
If employee's scheduled work time is changed, coordinator
must tell employee (face to face) at least one day in
advance.

Ex: employee works at 8:00am, but must come in at 7:00am
they must be told in advance
-
Order taxi to transport employees between plants
-
Taxi will bring to another plant; employee is responsible
for own way home
Salary: $10.00
This company is in the food manufacturing business.
Because of Federal and state regulations, there are some
strict rules about sanitation they have to follow:

No jeans are allowed.
-
WHITE SHIRTS only must be worn.
-
Shirts MUST be tucked in.
-
Absolutely NO jewelry (except wedding ring).
-
No nail polish or acrylic nails.
-
Must be clean cut - no facial hair allowed.
-
Must wear a hair net (provided by the company).
