- Direct Hire Placement

- Information Technology
IT recruiting specialists work with consultants, analysts, programmers, designers, installers, occupations involving computer sciences (hardware or software), and communications technologists (Internet, telephony, etc.) to match their skills to client openings.
- Temporary-To-Hire
We can provide you with talented employees on a temporary-to-hire basis with the possibility of being hired to the your company after a minimum assignment period is met. Prior to you extending an offer of direct employment, Williamson is the employer of record and assumes the responsibility for workers' compensation insurance, payroll, unemployment cost, and benefits. Our Temporary to Hire program works well for assigned employees as well as employers. Before joining the staff of the prospective employer, employees get to know the business work culture and job responsibilities. As the client company, you will have the opportunity to become familiar with employee abilities, skills, and corporate culture fit.

- Q: What is your application and screening process
Candidates apply in person at one of our branch office Locations. After filling out an employment application, they complete computerized assessments based on their experience and education. A behavioral-style interview is conducted by an American Staffing Association accredited Certified Staffing Professional (CSP) to discuss skills, work history, employment goals, job preference, and availability. This process typically takes one to 1½ hours.

- Q: When are employees paid
Payday is weekly, every Thursday. Employees may pick up their paychecks on Thursday beginning at 12:00 noon and all day Friday. They may also choose to have their paycheck mailed or elect direct deposit after their first month of employment.
Federal/Bank holidays may delay paycheck distribution; watch for notices in your paychecks prior to Federal/Bank holidays.

Williamson Staffing Services was formerly the name of our branch office in the Grand Rapids, MI area. That office was always owned and operated by Williamson Employment Services, Inc. In July 2012, Williamson Staffing Services changed its name so that it would match up with our long-standing corporate identity, Williamson Employment Services.
